Cate Marques
CXO @ Terra Kaffe
About
Cate Marques has always lived at the intersection of people and systems. She began her career in law and global affairs, working as a paralegal, interning at the United Nations, and researching international politics at Oberlin, before realizing her true calling was how organizations feel to the people they serve. That instinct carried her through BCG and Fithouse, where she consistently operated above her title, building people-centered systems and scaling teams through rapid growth. Terra Kaffe is where everything clicked. Joining in 2020, she rose from CX & Ops Manager to CXO, driven by a simple belief: customer experience isn’t a department, it’s a brand’s single biggest competitive advantage. Cate turns complexity into clarity, and customers into community.
