*  Achieved savings through process development and improvements, including redesign of several complete production lines for continuous product flow. *  Researched, justified and purchased capital equipment and tooling for a facility with an annual capital equipment budget over $8 million. *  Coordinated installation, startup and operator training for all new equipment including purchase of initial tooling/consumables and spare parts. *  Assembled test stations with multiple computer interface devices and documented procedures for calibrating and testing direct digital controls manufactured by OEM’s and installed on our products. *  Supported network of PCs and CNC machines; created CNC programs to produce sheet metal parts. *  Responsible for OSHA, UL, ETL, and environmental compliance; MSDS / Right-to-Know program; Lockout Tagout; machine guarding; and general plant safety programs. *  Supervised 14 maintenance personnel on two shifts. *  Initiated preventive maintenance program to reduce machine downtime and improve effectiveness of repairs.

 Designed and installed fiber optic and Cat 5 local area networks.  Managed a team of five network technicians responsible for installation, configuration, and repair of PC components and network hubs, routers, modems, servers, and racks.  Surveyed sites and planned installation projects and materials/equipment requirements for remote site installations in order to pre-ship all necessary items to job site.
