P.U.L.S. AB was one of the largest and most successful life sciences incubator/private equity firms in Scandinavia. PULS raised SEK 400 million. With a portfolio of a dozen projects turned companies it completed two outright exits at a SEK 1.1 billion total deal value, managed three IPOs with a projected exit valuation in the SEK 1.5 to 2.5 billion range. In 2017 the company realigned its focus and direction. It is now known as Aqilion AB and almost entirely dedicated to drug target development programs in the chronic inflammation and dysfunctional immunological reactions realm.

Inerventions was founded by Fredrik Lundqvist in 2009 in order to realize an entirely new concept in helping individuals with spasticity. Initially referred to as Electrodress, the product is now know as Mollii. It can help to reduce undesired reflexes and stiffness, enabling an improved range of motion and functional ability. Mollii can be used by people with neurological diseases such as cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, acquired brain damage, spinal injury, Parkinson’s Disease and stroke.

Perten Instruments is a world leading specialist in quality control of grain, flour, food and feed. Exceptional in-sight and capabilities in fields such as cereal chemistry, agronomy, spectroscopy and engineering makes Perten capable of developing and delivering analytical equipment which employs cutting edge technology at the same time as it is rugged, fit for purpose and easy to use. As the company continues to make significant investments in product development, it is able to introduce new products at a high pace - and secure its position as a global leader in quality control.

Vidacare is a rapidly growing U.S. corporation that develops, manufactures and markets life saving products allowing care providers to secure immediate intravenous access with the Vidacare EZ-IO, a proprietary technology. My involvement and role at the company was to manage operations outside North and South America. Vidacare B.V. is located in Schiphol Rijk. In addition to colleagues in San Antonio, TX, I worked with a fantastic group of people based in the Netherlands, England, Austria and Hong Kong.

At HemoCue, I was one of a few minority owners and management representatives involved in two ownership transitions, one in December 1999 and one in February 2007. I "finally" left in my 14th year of employment as acting managing director and having fulfilled my undertaking to coordinate the integration with HemoCue's new parent company, Quest Diagnostics.

HemoCue, Inc. was the sales and marketing organization responsible for the North American region. I managed 33 direct employees and USD 24 million in sales. Management responsibilities also included a distribution network of three direct territories and nine independent firms working in a franchise like business format with the equivalent of around one hundred fully dedicated sales representatives.

Responsible for building an organization and process for international operations, from scratch. Setting up a European sales office in the Netherlands and local manufacturing in France, in cooperation with an Italian pharmaceutical concern.
