I believe our current constructs of higher education are at odds with the future and am actively pursuing opportunities to lead a shift away from process oriented mindsets towards platform focused leadership for learners. To that end, I’m deeply focused on developing technology enabled, curated, credential-rich pathways that recognize the need for self sovereign identity, mobility, and just transitions. I’m interested in progressive executive level opportunities in public or private higher education, particularly with institutions positioned to scale. My focus is on roles that leverage robust expertise in university- industry-government relationships, institutional and academic innovation, and university led economic development including the future of work, recognizing learning where learning occurs, & value based engagements. I possess unique comprehensive experience, understanding, and respect of contemporary higher education operations and a track record of successful servant leadership that well positions me to collaborate across constituencies for the betterment of an educational institution. I believe resolutely in giving higher education a stronger voice in our society and in our immense responsibility to lift the underserved towards better economic and social standing through education. Finally, I have extensive leadership experience across educational administration (including student and faculty engagement), the military, non-profits, and the private sector. - I'm an impatient optimist who knows about innovation, engagement, and culture. - I run towards fires. - I don't care about credit but I do care about growing leaders. - I have big, bold, and informed ideas about enabling efficiency and access. - Big, bold, and informed ideas only matter if you execute.
