I have 30+ years in the fiber optic industry. My experience is mostly with utility companies. I am retired from Liberty Utilities, where I was foreman of the fiber optic department. I worked there during the Joplin, MO tornado, where I was in charge of planning, mapping, and designing the rebuild of fiber for the Joplin area. I am specialized in installing, testing (including OTDR reports), splicing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and mapping all types of fiber including OPGW. I am now with Optical Network Enterprises, a WMBE owned company, contracting fiber optic jobs.
