Cross-Cultural and Community Mental Health Psychologist, seeing patients from a variety of backgrounds including Laos, Somalia, Eritrea, Cambodia, and Native American. Focused on clients with severe and persistent mental illness, such as bi-polar disorder, borderline personality disorder and other personality disorders, schizophrenia, dual diagnosis with alcohol and addictions to gambling, drugs, etc., and developmental disabilities.

I treated psychotic patients with concurrent addiction, personality disorders, intellectual disabilities, and other challenges such as unemployment and poverty. I supervised four front line case managers who treated our clients, and my managers had a team of 20 employees in our division. I established a multi-departmental and collaborative Anger Management Program to serve the 25,000 mostly Yu'pik Eskimo peoples over the SW AK region the size of Pennsylvania.
