Chandler Christie

I am a recent graduate from the University of Pittsburgh, where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Supply Chain Management. I am currently working as a Sourcing Assistant at Mishimoto in Garnet Valley, PA, where I support global sourcing initiatives that focus on building a diverse and reliable supplier base outside of China. In this role, I work closely with our international sourcing team and engineering department to evaluate vendors, coordinate product sampling and testing, and help manage the transition to new suppliers. My academic background provided me with a strong foundation in procurement strategies, logistics, and operations management. I gained hands-on experience through supply chain simulations and team-based projects where I analyzed vendor performance, balanced cost with risk, and used real-time decision-making to respond to global disruptions. These experiences sharpened my ability to think strategically and solve problems in complex, fast-paced environments. In addition to my technical skills, I’ve developed strong communication and organizational abilities through customer service roles and past work experience. I’m comfortable collaborating across departments and working with several different types of people. I’m passionate about global logistics, sourcing strategy, and helping companies build more agile and efficient supply chains. I’m eager to continue growing my skills in areas such as supplier negotiation, cost analysis, and ERP systems. I’m always looking for opportunities to contribute value, learn from experienced professionals, and expand my impact in the supply chain field.
