As Estimator I was responsible for preparing, issuing and monitoring estimates for all in-house manufacturing, from one off projects to national rollouts, working from technical drawings, site layouts and sales proposals. Assisting in the research and development of new product lines, overseeing prototyping and delivering internal training programmes to the sales team. Managing the day to day running of the internal sales team I ensured that standard and non-standard products are quoted, manufactured and despatched efficiently. By identifying key trends I developed special offers and marketing promotions to maximise sales from existing customers and target new business. After implementing the internal CRM and ERP system I executed a training programme for all staff and played a key part in the continued development and running of the system.
