In December 2010 I had a three-week residency at ACOSS Cultural NGO in Yerevan through “Step Beyond”, travel grant by European Cultural Foundation of Amsterdam and Open Society Institute of New York. I developed a research aimed at the practical realization of a cultural exchange between Italy and Armenia, planning studio visits of 10 Armenian artists and involving the same number of Italian artists. In particular, I investigated new visions and representations of nature broadening the boundary between art and science, land art and contamination with new technologies. Both Italian and Armenian video-art and video-documents inherent the topic, were presented in public talks in Armenia (ACCEA Armenian Center for Contemporary Experimental Art, Yerevan, the most important institution for contemporary art in the country) and in Italy (Visual Container, Milan). A written report was sent to the European Cultural Foundation and published on Rhiz.eu (no longer working).

palazzo del broletto como
Boston-Como co-curated with James Hull from an idea by Fabrizio Bellanca. The project was exhibited in Palazzo del Broletto, former church of San Pietro in Atrio and Spazio Natta in Como and Suffolk University Art Gallery in Boston (upcoming). Supported by Comune di Como, Aldo Galli Accademy of Fine Art and American Consulate in Milan. An exchange between Italian and Boston-based artists. The project investigated how contemporary art practices are influenced by cultural and historical heritage. Invited artists (34 in total, half from the States and half from Italy) was also called to dialogue among themselves and with urban spaces in search of a line of continuity between their visions. Among invited artists: Agostino Arrivabane, Mirko Baricchi, Tara Sellios and Bill Thompson.
