Carolina Korman, PhD

Carolina is a published Food, Drink and Lifestyle Photographer based in Los Angeles, CA. With a Masters and PhD in Psychology, BA in Sociology, background in Fine Art and Food Styling, her unique sensibility to her surroundings translates to her photography. She is able to help clients capture their vision because she is attentive to details. Carolina photographs for restaurants capturing their menu, drinks, interior, exterior design and architecture. She is a Contributing Photographer at Edible LA Magazine. A James Beard Award Publication, sharing the story of local food and culture. She has styled many of the covers she photographed. Cover story photography for Edible LA has included LA Icons Chef Minh Phan and Chef Nyesha Arrington. She also photographs for other publications such as Cherry Bombe Magazine. Most recent photographed their 2025 first Jubilee Los Angeles event. Jubilee is Cherry Bombe’s annual conference celebrating women and creatives in the world of food & drink. She pursued her passion for photography in Los Angeles at Otis College of Art & Design and at the LA Center of Photography (LACP). She was a photographer for Modern Luxury’s LA city magazines. Her assignments included lifestyle, food, editorial and events for prior regional group Publisher Christopher Gialanella and his team at Angeleno, Interiors CA and Weddings CA. Carolina believes in giving back to important causes and has pursued philanthropic work as a photographer and in-kind sponsor for L.A. Loves Alex's Lemonade. She is also part of the And Gather For Good team since it launched, doing pro bono social media and website photography. A grassroots fundraising initiative created by Pastry Chef Zoe Nathan in 2017 raising funds for various non-profits. And Gather for Good is currently led by co-founders Sherry Mandell of Tehachapi Heritage Grain Project and Stephanie Chen of Sugarbear Bakes Bakery. When Carolina is not at a photography assignment she loves to visit the local farmers markets.
