Over the past years I have built a strong base of experience, and constantly upgrading my skills to face the challenges of different types of operations in various projects, focusing on developing, and establishing success in project implementation and highest safe work practice for undersea cable installation and repairs. Practically I participated in#25 submarine cable project implementation and 63 submarine cable repair missions, responsible as the company representative on board the vessel with ultimate on board authority capacity as Master of cable ship and at times (HOM) Head of mission to take all decisions in relation to submarine cable works, vessel movements, safe ship operations and for effect environmental protection. Responsibilities 01. To ensure safe operations of vessels and compliance to all international marine requirement. 02. To conduct routine inspection, HSE Marine Audits ISM/ISPS. 03. To conduct vetting inspection. 04. To follow up and insure closing of outstanding observations. 05. To ensure professional standard are maintained whilst complying with regulatory and company compliance requirement. 06. To plan, deliver, instruct, and monitor personnel and insure effective implementation of the Safety Management System. 07. To ensure that the safety and quality standards are being met onboard the vessels. 08. Review Master reports and take appropriate measure to rectify gaps 09. Supervise maintenance related to the deck, safety and navigation. 10. Liaise with classification society, insurance on ships related issues 11. Participate in maintenance and installation/projects 12. Prepare yearly budget related to deck, safety and navigation. 13. Control of assigned budget. 14. Maintain current knowledge of all safety and quality matters relevant to their position. 15. Initiate action to prevent any non- conformance when problems do occur. 16. Quality management system, business processes and project work. 17. Recommend, initiate or provide solutions through quality management representatives. 18. Assist the quality management representatives in verifying the implementation solutions. 19. Produce records as required by the safety and quality management system 20. Contribute to the continual review and improvement of the safety and quality management system.

Key Responsibilities: Responsible for the navigation and the seaworthiness of the ship, while implementing and maintaining total compliance with the safety management system in with the company safety and environmental protection policy. Assume responsible as the company representative on board the vessel with ultimate on board authority to take all decisions in relation to securing and maintaining safe ship operations and for effect environmental protection. Ensure the vessel remains seaworthy and compliant by undergoing regular status and classification surveys. Ensure that the safety management system is fully implemented and complied with in accord with the company’s safety and environmental protection policy. Plan and supervise the ongoing program for on board maintenance in order to ensure the vessel is in optimum operation status and the asset value is protected. Conduct regular safety meetings and drills to ensure crew member are a wear of safety requirement and their individual roles in incident/accident response crew member. Maintain preparedness for the emergency response by ensuring fire fighting , oil spill and other equipment and materials are fully operational and available. Plan, allocate and manage daily activities by issuing proper order and instruction in clear and simple manner. Establish and maintain ongoing program for the training, development and motivation for the mate and support crewmembers. Complete and submit regular administrative and activity report detailing findings and recommendations for management consideration. Take all operational decision on the vessel. Responsible for taking appropriate action / decisions during contingencies, accidents or other emergencies. Take appropriate day to day action to insure the safety of personnel, equipment and infrastructure are overriding considerations in day to day management . works in line with port rules and regulations and client’s contract terms.

Key Responsibilities : Head of Deck Department responsible for the safe and efficient running of deck department. Watch duty including Senior DP Operator. Responsible for the maintenance of all marine safety equipment. Responsible for ensuring ship’s security in port and when at sea. Responsible for the ship’s maintenance according to the approved maintenance plan. Responsible for the cargo lashing according to the ship’s securing manual. Supervision of the safe and efficient loading / unloading. Garbage and waste management in accordance with external and internal Requirements. Shipboard training / familiarization of officers and sub ordinary crew. Safety officer responsible for marine emergency training of all on board. Assist the Master in conducted “Master’s Review” in accordance with the ISM Code. Produce records as required by the Safety and Quality Management System. Improvement of the Safety Quality Management System. Notify the Master immediately of any defects which may affect the ship safety. Draft and stability calculations. Investigation non-conformances and Appling corrective action as agreed with the Master. Initiate action to prevent any non-conformance accruing in the safety and Management system. Assist project team as requested and as instructed by the Master. Submarine cable operations : - Lunching of BU. - Recovering of BU. - Uraduct Installation. - Shore End Operation - Lunching of final bight. - Loading and Handling BU. - Submarine Cable Grappling. - Loading and Handling Repeaters. - Launching Repeater & Joint Box. - Recovery and replacement of Repeater. - Submarine Cable Loading and Bight arrangement. - Routine maintenance and cable working gear record. - Platform Cable installation ( J-Tube Cable installation ) - Supporting the plough team to lunch and recovery the Plough. - Rigging, Lunching and Recovering Steel and Modular Marker Buoy.

DP Knowledge and Experience: Controlling the vessel using manual and joystick controls. Changing operational modes between auto DP to joystick to manual controls to autopilot. Principles and planning of DP operations in depth. DP information input systems. Detailed understanding of the DP computer/control system(s), including changing between systems and the various modes of operation. Thruster units and associated systems. Power supplies. Equipment redundancy, availability and maintenance requirements. Operational capabilities. Comprehensive knowledge of the vessel’s communications systems. Knowledge of the vessel’s FMEA . knowledge of emergency procedures and actions due to failures of: – generator/power – thrusters – sensors – computers – commands – feedback Setup and use of position reference systems. Understanding, functionality, failure modes.
