I screen, assess, and educate patients in the hospital setting and focus on their nutritional needs. My specialty is providing appropriate nutrition support (enteral/parenteral nutrition) in the critical care unit. I also counsel and educate members on a one to one basis on proper nutrition for their particular condition/disease. I have taken on many roles at my years at KP including covering the nutrition segment in the hepatitis and fatty liver classes, teaching proper well-balanced nutrition to the ABC eating disorders group as well as personalized support to these individuals, and educating members with ESRD on Peritoneal Dialysis in the PD Clinic.
