Headed the Finance for "More Supermarkets" having turnover of Rs.4,000 Cr,  Responsible for providing diligent decision support to CEO of Supermarkets business operating in Omni channel environment selling Grocery Food and Non-Food, Bakery Dairy & Frozen (BDF), Fruits & Vegetables (F&V), Staples and General Merchandise (GM++) through its Retail Stores and B2C online on amazon.in and closely working with the CEO to drive growth and profitability through Cost control programs, evaluation of Capex proposals and marketing schemes.  Responsible for Commercials of all Backend facilities Pan-India including 12 Distribution Centres (DCs), 15 F&V Collection Centres and 9 F&V DCs, 2 Commissaries (Bakery) Units and 5 Reprocessing centres (RPCs for Staples).  Also, responsible for business with Amazon - B2B supplies and B2C online Sales

Headed the Procurement Commercial function handling responsibilities across ABFRL's all Brands, Factories and other functions like IT, Supply Chain, etc. and driven vendor negotiations through online auctions on ARIBA platform and established robust Capex procurement processes.

Helped top management in taking critical decisions through Business analysis, ensuring quick turnaround and driving the Annual Operating Plan, Budget and Rolling Forecasts across Brands, Manufacturing Facilities and all Support Functions. Developed Risk Management Framework across functions - Retail Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, HR, IT, Finance and Legal, Marketing and Sustainability. Published Monthly Chairman's MIS report with crisp commentary on variance analysis. Played key role in M&A when ABG acquired Pantaloons and when ABG sold out ABRL (More) to Amazon & Samara Capital

Handled consolidation of Annual operating plan for the Company and responsible for Corporate Commercial and driven a project with IT for Funds Management module in SAP for robust budget control by Fund Centre, by line item. Handled Chairman's Weekly Business reviews.

Handled Forecasting, Budgeting, Plan Vs Actual reporting and variance analysis for top management. Joined them at the inception of their FP&A back office- Global Financial Information Centre (GFIC), in India in 2003, led the successful transition of FP&A processes from US, significantly improving the quality of reports and time taken to prepare them through automation of processes. Supported Business and Finance teams of Oracle across the Globe with Daily / Weekly / Monthly and Quarterly MIS and variance analysis through standard and adhoc reports, Weekly Forecasting and Annual Budgeting. Assisted SVP-Finance in Quarterly reporting as per US GAAP, travelled to Oracle's HQ at California (US) couple of times for Statutory reporting.

Handled Accounts, Taxation, Payroll, Adminstration, MIS reporting, Business analysis and interfaced with auditors. Hired to head Finance of their Lucknow Region having 400 Centres, but after a year promoted to head the North Zone Finance in 2002 when the three Regional offices (New Delhi, Chandigarh and Lucknow) were consolidated, having over 1000 Centres. Established robust auditing process of Franchisees.
