Managing Türkiye’s first ERA-Chair project under Horizon Europe (WIDERA), focused on establishing a Center of Excellence (IKU-SPECTRA) in molecular spectroscopy. Responsible for project coordination, infrastructure development, ERA Chair onboarding, financial and administrative compliance, and aligning multidisciplinary research in physics, chemistry, and materials science.

Senior Specialist, Directorate for Fundraising and Inter-Corporate Communications •Establishing and developing relationships with institutions that enable İstanbul 2010 ECoC Agency and its projects to generate cash and aid in kind to realize more projects, • Assisting in the successfully completion of İstanbul 2010 ECoC process by taking advantage of private sectors’ potentials, vision and expertise, • Assisting in the communication by announcing İstanbul 2010 ‘s projects and activities at the partner institutions’ national and international sale and distribution points, • To Inform the employees of the partners and sponsors about İstanbul and İstanbul 2010 events and create awareness about city and ensure that they adopt our values and what has been done, • To coordinate among partner and sponsor candidates, project originator and related unit., • To manage the signatory process of partnership and sponsorship agreements and coordinate the related bodies to fulfill requirements of agreements.

• Establishing and developing a network of relationships with clients (decision makers) at metropolitan and city municipalities and their subsidiaries, government related entities, Undersecretariat of Treasury and State Planning Organization of Turkey, • Establishing and developing a network of contacts with department heads of private companies, which provide services to the public sector. Moreover, liaising with national and international financial institutions, which provide finance for projects in Turkey, • Identifying the potential financing needs of public sector clients in accordance to the approved bank country/regional business plan/strategy, • Familiarize myself with the relevant legal framework and procedures that govern public entities in Turkey, as well as the investment priorities of the public sector as they appear in the annual investment programmes, • Supporting the Managing Director with the origination (client development) and the placement of budget finance transactions, • Working through entire project life cycle (financing, credit assessment, credit risk analysis and documentation), • Establishing appropriate communication channels with the bank’s departments and providing a consistent information flow regarding new business opportunities and their related developments to colleagues at the project finance, advisory services and the other related departments within the Bank, • Facilitate the credit approval process by intermediating the information flow between the credit department and the client base, translating where necessary the information both in terms of language and also in relation to existing legal and regulatory framework governing public entities; Also provided analytical input in facilitating understanding of the accounting of the Turkish Public Sector, • Attend local and international seminars and conferences, to meet prospective clients to execute the Bank’s business plan and strategy
