Managed the predevelopment and approval processes and obtained financing for mixed-finance public housing redevelopment projects in Newark, NJ, Camden, NJ, and Franklin, TN. Worked to devise and implement financing strategies to recapitalize and rehabilitate existing Section 236 and Section 8 affordable housing developments throughout New Jersey.

Managed the site assemblage, due diligence, and various aspects of the entitlements and financing for a $74M, 305 unit adaptive re-use apartment development in Haverhill, MA that was developed with the use of tax-exempt bonds, federal and state Low Income Housing Tax Credits, as well as federal and state Historic Tax Credits. Oversaw various acquisition, feasibility, design and approval work on adaptive re-use and mixed-use rental apartment projects in Lawrence, MA, New Rochelle, NY, New Haven, CT. Managed entitlement modifications and disposition of an office site in Roslyn, NY and a condominium site in Mamaroneck, NY, including the construction of a public parking deck that was an approval condition.

Performed land acquisitions for a regional homebuilder that was owned by the Weyerhaeuser Corporation. Generated land leads, performed feasibility analysis, and assisted in preparing investment memos. Evaluated data products and initiated the development of a GIS database to streamline identification and tracking development opportunities.

Handled leasing and administrative property set-up responsibilities during the lease-up of a 156-unit multifamily housing development. Initiated vendor accounts and managed marketing of local businesses to residents. Directed the leasing of 39 moderate-income apartments in compliance with MHFA guidelines and in cooperation with numerous local housing authorities. Honored by community advocacy group for work with mentally disabled applicants. Completed formal internship program that provided exposure to many aspects of residential property and asset management.

Contributed significantly to the site selection process on single family and senior independent living residential projects by identifying potential sites and conducting preliminary due diligence. Gathered and analyzed information from government offices, consultants, property databases, and site visits. Produced PowerPoint that integrated property records, digital photographs, and GIS maps for presentation to senior executives.
