The Ashesi Innovation Experience (AIX) program is an innovative program organised for high school students to expose them to the various career options in Engineering, Computer Science, Entrepreneurship, and Creative Arts that they could consider. Over a 2-week period, participants of the program go through rigorous training in leadership, design and module-specific training to solve pressing problems. The design project for AIX '23 was to design a modern and creative solution to flood situations in Ghana. The Engineering project for week 2 was on Industrial Automation where we coached high school students to build a complex conveyor belt system to automate some Industrial processes such as filling, labelling, and sorting by colour and height. The Engineering team project was centred on the essence of collaboration in problem solving.

Managed executives of the association to meet set goals such as organizing speaker forums to address topics of interests to Engineering and Computer Science students, rolling up innovative initiatives to advance student's skills and holding intelligent conversations about the Engineering industry.

Through the Applied Methods and Research Experience (AMRE) internship, I got the opportunity to work on a comprehensive growth plan for an agricultural startup located in Nandom in the Upper West Region of Ghana. Working collaboratively with three other amazing Global AMRE associates from the College of Wooster, I leveraged effective communication skills, mathematical computation, on-site research methods, and business analytics to come up with the growth plan. Agriculture is the most lucrative venture for developing communities in Ghana. As AMRE associates, we shared the aspirations of the startup to help maximise profits made by small-scale farmers, which will go a long way to improve their economic standings. A greater target is to reach as many small-scale farmers as possible in sub-Saharan Africa.

Together with a team of 4 members, we planned and successfully organised the first in-person edition of TEDx Ashesi University 2022.
