Mineral Sands - Contract Mining Engineer engaged by Tronox's Mine Planning group at the Cooljarloo mine site. Responsible for all mine planning and operational functions relating to the Dozer Trap dry mining operation, including short and medium term mining plans and scheduling, slime and sand tails waste management and scheduling, infrastructure planning, mine operations coordination and mining contractor liason/management.

Independent Consultant engaged by Tronox's Resource and Technology Development group to carry out the mining component of the LOM plan for the Cooljarloo Mineral Sands Mine. Ore mining at Cooljarloo is carried out by dredge and "dozer trap", while overburden mining is by conventional truck and excavator. Tasks included the following: Client liaison, project management, block model manipulation and coding, multiple pit optimisations and mine designs, mine scheduling, cost modelling, OPEX/CAPEX, mining study report input and compilation.

Primary or contributing technical consultant on a range of mining studies from scoping through to DFS level, including technical input across the following areas: Client liaison, project management, block model manipulation and coding, pit optimisation, mine design, mine scheduling, cost modelling, OPEX/CAPEX, mining study report input and compilation, technical survey support, and general mine engineering.
