* I put in place a version control system * GIT * I developed custom plugins for various e-commerce platforms * I did performance enhancements for various websites (debugging and decreasing resource usage; caching mechanisms; scaling and load balancing) * I handled most of the system administration for the unmanaged VPSs/servers (using Puppet) * I added features to different existing projects (PHP, Ruby on Rails, ASP.net MVC) * I optimised and scaled amsterdamcityswim.nl (I did the necessary codebase changes in order to support a multi-database architecture and then scaled the whole thing to a load balanced system with multiple application servers having database master-slave replication. The server configuration was handled with Puppet in order to be able to install a new application server quickly and painlessly)

* I was in touch with the Product Owner on a daily basis, working in an Agile environment (using Scrum) * I worked with the Atlassian SaaS suite (JIRA for Agile task management, FishEye for Git repositories, Crucible for peer code review, Bamboo for deployments/continuous integration and Confluence as a collaboration tool and wiki) * I was responsible with finding the right technical solutions for the features the Product Owner requested * I used Git as a version control system and I was in charge with Git support for my team members. * I developed complex integrations with different bank APIs (mostly SOAP) for a complete payment workflow (including the payment itself, payment with instalments, payments with bonus points, recurring payments, token payments * “one click buy”, complete or partial refunds, and bank * payment processor reconciliations) * I was actively involved in choosing the software architecture for different features of the product that qualified as technical debt

I developed with the programming team at Media10 different features and fixed bugs for www.1001case.ro in a very short period of time, succeeding to improve the general feeling of the website ( code optimizing for faster load, new features and less bugs )

I developed new projects and improved existing ones.

Developed web-based applications in the php area. I was responsible of choosing the right technical solutions in order to make things work in php development area and also defining and developing with the php team of all projects that suit our needs.

* I learned and worked with Symfony 1.4 with Doctrine 1.2 (the CMS used has been written on top of Diem Content Management Framework) * I developed http://www.videonews.ro with a colleague * I helped with servers administration and took care of the version control (Mercurial)
