Responsibilities: • In-charge of Infra-structure project tenders. • Managing the Tender related activities from the receipt of the Tender Documents, Verifying Specifications, Drawings & Bill of Quantities, Analysing Condition of contract & list out all the discrepancies, missing information & then raise queries to the consultant for clarification. • Prepare the preliminary Project Information Sheet, Site Visit report so as to give an idea about the Scope of the Works & Site Condition & present it to the management. • Prepare Enquiry schedule so that Procurement Engineer start sending enquires in the market to get most competitive quotation from sub-contractors. • Prepare Sub-Contractor comparison statement & check that the quotation is fully complied & as per the specification. • Prepare the detail Estimate with extreme precision for every element of the work involved based on first principal. • Liaison with the planning Engineer to reconcile the tender resource allowance & also to finalise the Plant & Site Facilities. • Prepare the Preliminaries for the Job including the detailed Plant requirements & Site Staff. • Prepare the Risk Analysis report & discuss it with the management. • Prepare the Final tender Summary sheet along with the supporting documents for the Finalization of percentage Mark-up. • Preparation of Budget after award of the project to enable site to work within cost parameters and facilitate QS cost control.
