Defining and driving the long-term direction of manufacturing operations which includes setting strategic goals for production capacity, automation, AI/IoT adoption, cost reduction, and sustainability. Key responsibilities involve aligning factory capabilities with business objectives, leading digital transformation, improving operational efficiency, enhancing supply chain integration, and ensuring flexibility to meet future market demands. The role also includes evaluating investment opportunities, managing change, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation across the manufacturing network.

Overseeing all manufacturing operations to ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality output which includes strategic planning, resource management, team leadership, and cross-department coordination. The role focuses on optimizing production efficiency, maintaining safety and quality standards, and driving continuous improvement to meet organizational goals.

Manage strategic planning processes / projects of Daikin Group manufacturing companies including the annual strategy review, in-depth review of key strategic improvement (kaizen) on QCD & investment prioritization in order to ensure the best use of group resources to achieve organizational growth & profitability.

Continuously to discover the optimum balance between Sales & Factory by way of stock control with Purchase, Sales, Inventory (PSI) and facilitate New Product Introduction (NPI) system for ensuring smooth operation with minimum cost & maximum sales opportunity to generate highest profitability to the company.

To analyze financial and operational data to surface strategic opportunities and setup top down strategic plan for Production of Daikin System (PDS) continuous improvement activities execution in order to achieve manufacturing companies yearly goals with qualitative & quantitative measurement. In charge of Daikin Malaysia training centre to provide induction program, certification training (Brazing, Welding, Forklift driving, etc.), and in-house PDS, Poka-Yoke, & Value Stream Mapping (VSM) training.

Implement and spread innovative approach by concrete tools like Production of Daikin System (PDS) training, Kaizen activities or Kaizen audit which enable to enhance the knowledge of operation workers to do their own kaizen activities at their workplace. Established Cost Sheet to identify and evaluate the product costing for analyzing product profitability, product cost control, and fix product selling price.

Identify key projects which can reduce production expenses and monitor key projects activities status and execute its action plan with respective departments

To do installation / modification of a manufacturing line and ensuring all process / equipment is being well maintain for production stable operation. Continuously strives to discover / improve the issues found in manufacturing process.
