For this law firm I was responsible for handling basic IT functions, including network management, connecting with the law database, and access to previous cases. I also did basic office functions such as filing, printing, and organizing of physical information.

For this smaller manufacturing company I was in charge of handling the computer systems for the office. I did maintenance, network upkeep, and repairs when necessary. I also handled basic design and input for an industrial sewing machine. Along with these jobs I also performed basic tasks, such as filing and delivery of products, mail, etc.

When I was first hired at USDATA, which was later acquired into Siemens, my job was based around creating marketing materials such as product web pages and advertisements. I also performed basic administrative assistant duties. Based on my experiences with the company I was later hired into a higher level position. I worked creating and formatting technical documentation for two leading products in the factory automation market. After a year of doing documentation, I moved into the quality assurance sector where I worked testing for problems in the software working with both the support and development teams. It was also my job to provide advice on subjects such as design interface and aesthetics. This gave me experience working in automation software FactoryLink, QA program PVCS Tracker, documentation software such as Adobe FrameMaker, along with basic office software such as the Office Suite.

As Station Manager, it was my responsibility to handle all affairs and be liable for the actions of the radio station. My position included managing a Program Director, Music Director, and Webmaster along with dealing with a Media Advisor and other School Representatives. I gained much experience in problem solving, whether it was between DJs or representing our team to the other organizations. In addition to personnel management I also had many responsibilities including managing a budget, keeping the equipment functional, and handling events. I represented the station at conventions in New York City, Athens, GA, and Austin, TX. In my year as Station Manager the station grew to its largest ever with forty DJs, created a new website, and was nominated for the first time as Best Internet College Radio Station by the College Music Journal.

As Music Director it was my responsibility to be the bridge between the music industry and the radio station. It was my job to keep up relations with promoters from record labels and promotion companies. Along with this I had to review approximately thirty albums a week and organize our stations charts. This included much contact with the DJs in providing them with artists that they would enjoy. I was also responsible for handling the booking and handling of bands for radio station concerts.

With HP I worked in the Open Call technology group. I worked directly with the Infrastructure Manager for OCRO in handling support between the different international regions. We worked mostly through a proprietary business metrics program that we used to provide high level managers with business-critical information and to promote better business practices for project managers in the different regions. Along with providing input and feedback for the analytic system I was responsible for working with regional representatives in assisting with their needs and questions. I was able to implement a data backup system for all of the information in the servers. I created a system using Access, ASP, and Brio that allowed managers to create their own highly-specific reports with the information from the system. Along with this I created documentation and training videos for different services and performed remote training sessions for managers in the different regions.

Activities and Societies: In college my main extracurricular activities were with the radio station. With Radio UTD I was a DJ for six semesters where I was hired as the Music Director and then promoted to Station Manager.
