Participants in Bold Leaders acknowledge that tomorrow is dependent on the actions of today. Through traveling to various countries and hosting foreign students, we instilled the idea that all people deserve the right for understanding and acceptance. I traveled to Ireland to teach my generation how to accept the religious differences based on human similarities. We participated in games and group activities with both Catholic and Protestant students and stayed in their families' homes in Belfast. We also participated in hightened awareness activites throughout Ireland, specifically Dublin and Belfast.

Defense Language Institute takes military personnel and teaches them from elementary level language to college level language skills. I participated in the Modern standard Arabic program and the Spanish program.
