Christoph Barchewitz

Christoph Barchewitz is the CEO of Global Fashion Group (GFG), where he oversees the ongoing strategic and operational development of the company. Christoph took on his current role in March 2023 after having served as Co-CEO since February 2018 and previously as a non-executive director on the company’s Board since 2015. Global Fashion Group is a leading fashion and lifestyle destination in LATAM, SEA and ANZ. Prior to joining GFG, Christoph had fourteen years of investing and advisory experience in the Technology, Media and Telecom (“TMT”) sector globally. He has held roles at Kinnevik, where he oversaw the e-commerce investment portfolio (including Zalando, GFG, Home24, Westwing, Lazada and Linio), Goldman Sachs and Solon Management Consulting. Christoph graduated from the University of Mannheim with a degree in business administration (Diplom-Kaufmann) in 2003. In his graduate studies, he earned a master of public administration from the School of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University, where he studied from 2005 to 2007. Christoph is currently also Chairman of the Supervisory Board at Westwing Group SE, the European listed home & living e-commerce business.
