I lead a team who specializes in data collection, storage and analysis. Our goal is to empower business users and decision makers to collect, analyze, and disseminate the data that they have and need.

A member of the Plannning and Research Team, responsible for responding to internal requests for data analysis. Use a mixture of Business Intelligence, Survey, and GIS Tools to analyze both spatial and temporal data.

Develop, document, maintain and validate GIS applications and data including parcel, streets, addressing, aerial and other spatial data. Utilize ArcGIS and GeoMedia to preform spatial analysis and produce softcopy and printed maps. Assist in the administration of various public safety databases. Attend and participate in GIS steering and technical committee meetings and project meetings. Provide users with updates, make recommendations, and receive feedback regarding current and future projects and needs. Interact with outside entities and members of the public as required.

Trained experienced analysts on bulk software upgrades and the usage of new techniques and tools. Trained new analysts on efficient use of ESRI ArcGIS, Microsoft Office and proprietary software for the purpose of database management, spatial and network analysis. Worked individually and as a team to create GIS models to streamline standing project completion. Identified shortfalls in current software and developed macros and other programs to expedite accurate production. Worked with programmers to upgrade programs to increase effectiveness. Provided feedback to analysts about their finished intelligence products, checked quality and accuracy and ensured clear and concise adherence to standards. Analyzed software effectiveness and made recommendations for updates and implementation of software to maximize user workflow to management and vendors. Exploited over 2000 hours of full motion video imagery supporting more than 90 missions in support of forward operating assault forces.

Utilized ArcGIS Desktop 9.0 and Google Earth as well as proprietary software to analyze and identify key landmarks and answer detailed requests for information. Analyzed airborne and satellite imagery to create detailed geodatabases. Conducted positional and software instruction for analysts, documented their progression and ensured their understanding of all learning objectives. Participated in regular meetings to report training requirements and make recommendations to leadership. Identified group shortfall and organized formal ArcMap training to increase team efficiency with a mission essential program.

Selected as Imagery Training Program Manager charged with development and revision of positional, software, and training materials, management of all training events. Program Manager for Global Hawk mission management training team and was responsible for training 108 members in two weeks. Created internal SharePoint page to improve workflow and maintenance of all training documentation. Maintained all necessary documents and files per regulation standards for deployment and training. Authored two certification programs and managed the training of all students. Attended a bulk software upgrade seminar on mission essential software and subsequently managed the training of all users on upgraded systems. Identified software deficiency of a nationally used software, acted as the liaison and worked with the software vendor to generate a solution. Acted as a subject matter expert representing over 750 users to advise imagery science advisers, engineers, and programmers on user workflow requirements. Analyzed and provided quality control of over 2,600 finished MASINT and Global Hawk Imagery products. Maintained the organizational SharePoint sites in a timely and efficient manner.
