Process Assistant
I currently work at a sort center. There are many attributes to focus on within this warehouse. Which are linear sort ( for small UPS packages), cross dock(volume being sent out to delivery stations in Colorado), and mechlite(packages 37 inches longer or 50 pounds heavier). Our main goal as process assistants is to keep a steady flow of the packages that are being processed on the belts and get as many packages out before CPT. As well as keeping a good amount of head count of associates and moving them to areas where they're needed to be. We also do computer work that helps us track the flow, monitor which trailers are coming in and what belts need to be prioritized for scan down.

Learning Ambassador
My role as an ambassador is to train the new associates to achieve success at Amazon. As well as problem solve to fix any damaged packages or any packages that didn't make it into delivery. Or assist drivers with missing packages and load their vans if needed to. Lastly, line lead is where a person is in charge of monitoring one of the belts. For an example, one person monitors belt A and B. While the other takes care of C and D. The goal is to make sure the package flow is running smoothly and assigning/moving people to the best spot.

Photographer
My role in this position was to take people's pictures coming in from the main entrances. I had to meet an expectation to make sure I took enough photos in one day. And to try to take high quality photos to attract purchases from others. Sometimes I would be at the register to take payments for people's photos

Fulfillment Associate
Macy's
I came back to Macy's again as a seasonal worker. This time my role was different. I was asked to work with the fulfillment team. I would pack clothes, fragrances, shoes and accessories into envelopes or boxes. Another duty in this role were picking and collections. Picking is where you'd have to find orders within the store or trace an order that's missing. Collections is where there are a stock of clothes that haven't been displayed in the store yet which is also our last option to go to, if we can't find an item in the store.

Event Staff
(Summer job) I had multiple job duties for this role. For days we had to staff for kids; we would travel to different cities to set up inflatables and a few rides that required metal parts. Once everything was ready, we had a line of parents waiting with their kids. We would carefully choose a group of kids who would safely work together and monitor them. If not, it could affect their safety and also affect the ride/inflatable. Once we're done we roll the inflatables up (which requires a lot of strength) or take down the metal rides into smaller pieces. After that we put everything back into a truck and take it back to the warehouse. The next day, we would clean the inflatables, rides, and blow dryers, inside and out.

Fulfillment Specialist
Macy's
(Seasonal job) My role at Macy's was to keep certain departments organized. My main department was in the women's section. However, since I went above the standards of maintaining the women's department. I was asked to organize in various departments as well. Which has tremendously helped attract customers and sales.
