About
I work at the intersection of hard engineering and climate impact. I’m a mechanical engineer by training, and most of my work so far has been about taking systems that look good on paper and making sure they survive the real world: high temperatures, mechanical stress, field variability, and scale. Before starting Carbon Matter Zero, I worked as a design engineer at Takachar, where I was part of building decentralized pyrolysis reactors operating at 800°C+. My role spanned thermo-structural modeling, CFD, FEA, and production-ready design, owning systems end to end, from simulation to manufacturing drawings and field validation. A lot of my learning came from seeing where designs fail in practice and fixing them. At Carbon Matter Zero, I’m focused on building deployable carbon capture systems, not demos. That means obsessing over energy efficiency, mechanical reliability, modularity, and scale economics so the technology can move from pilot plants to multi-site industrial rollouts across geographies. I care about problems that sit at the infrastructure scale of climate change, where solutions need to work not just once, but hundreds of times, in different plants, under different constraints. If you’re building or thinking about hard problems in climate, energy, or industrial systems, I’m always happy to exchange notes.

Mechanical Design Engineer

At Takachar, we’re working on developing a decentralized, low-cost pyrolysis reactor that operates at extreme temperatures (800°C+). My role spans simulation, modeling, and design, with a focus on making our systems both robust and efficient: 🔹 Built a full thermo-structural model of the reactor in Ansys Workbench, validated it with field data, and used it to guide design decisions and performance improvements. 🔹 Working on CFD simulations for thermal management systems and performed FEA on driveline components to ensure mechanical reliability. 🔹 Designed, CAD-modeled, and produced full-scale manufacturing drawings for multiple reactor subsystems—taking concepts all the way to production-ready designs. During this time, I also worked as a consultant with Mati Carbon (50 Mn USD grand prize winners of X Prize); BioSorra, Regen organics, helping them with fabrication & installation of Bio-char reactors along with training their employees on its operations.

Mechanical Engineering Intern

Worked on solving warpage issues in the reactor shell and auger by performing structural analysis using Ansys Workbench and provided design recommendations based on that. Also gained experience in making professional engineering drawings for manufacturing a part using Solid works
