With nearly three decades of leadership experience spanning energy, technology, research, and enterprise modernization, Dr. AlTahini has built a distinguished career at the intersection of strategic leadership, advanced innovation, and operational excellence. His expertise lies in transforming complex technological capabilities into scalable business outcomes that strengthen industries, enhance resilience, and unlock long-term value. Since assuming leadership of Aramco Digital in 2026, Dr. AlTahini has led the company’s next phase of growth, focused on advancing digital platforms, industrial solutions, connectivity infrastructure, and enterprise modernization aligned with Saudi Arabia’s broader digital and economic ambitions. Prior to his role as CEO, Dr. AlTahini served as Business Executive President and Board Member of Aramco Digital, where he drove enterprise-wide strategic execution, governance, and value creation across major business units. Before joining Aramco Digital, Dr. AlTahini held several senior leadership roles within Saudi Aramco, including Vice President of the Upstream Digital Center, where he led one of the company’s most significant digital transformation agendas, modernizing operations, driving advanced technology adoption, and positioning the organization as a leading engine of industrial digital transformation. Earlier in his career, he led Saudi Aramco’s EXPEC Advanced Research Center and global research ecosystem, overseeing world-class innovation initiatives, commercialization programs, sustainability technologies, and international research centers across multiple continents. Dr. AlTahini holds a Ph.D. and M.S. in Petroleum and Geological Engineering from the University of Oklahoma, along with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals.
