Worked on Exotic leather processing under STRAIT project and actively involved in processing of chicken feet skins from raw to finish. Involved in assessment of various dye stuffs for shade improvement on chicken feet skins and development of value-added leather products. Worked on Processing of fish skin and made leather jacket which is a waste to value added product. Presented a Poster in IULTCS (International Leather conference) held in Chennai, related to the making of value-added products from wastes. Actively involved in coordinating activities pertinent to Jigyasa Programme and demonstrated leather processing to the school students. Involved in training diploma students and executive trainee in leather practical’s. Carried out R & D activities under TSP project, studies on extraction of natural dyes from various sources and its application on leather dyeing as an initiation of eco- friendly approach. Actively involved in Industry Validation activities of National Skill Qualification Framework (NSQF) for CSIR-CLRI Skill Initiative Programme and carried out data base work in National Scheduled Caste Finance and Development (NSFDC) program.
