PROFILE SUMMARY A senior professional with extensive experience in stakeholder engagement across Indonesia, including Aceh, South Sumatra, East Java, Madura, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, NTB, Bali, Maluku, and Papua. Skilled in managing complex, multi-level stakeholder environments—from local communities and district governments to provincial authorities and national institutions—ensuring alignment between project goals and stakeholder expectations. My key field engagement was with Santos Oil Limited in offshore Madura (Bangkalan to Sumenep), supporting seismic surveys, drilling, Plan of Development (PoD) approvals, and production. I played a pivotal role in partnerships with local government-owned enterprises (BUMDs), public communication, and conflict resolution during field operations. At Santos, I successfully fulfilled the Company’s obligation to provide 10% Participating Interest (PI) for BUMD without any conflict where the Maleo Block activities are located, as well as carrying out PI activities for Mubadala Energy in the Sebuku Block several years ago. In mining, I supported Newmont Mining Corporation in Sumbawa, West Nusa Tenggara, during the transition from exploration to production. This role enhanced my expertise in community management and government relations. I also established the Olat Parigi Foundation to support sustainable community development. I was also appointed Special Advisor to the Secretary General of the Minister of Industry in developing industrial policy, driving cross-sector alignment, and strengthening collaboration between government and industry. Beyond extractives, I have a strong track record in forestry, agriculture and plantations for Mars Wrigley Confectionary, having served as Chairman of the Indonesian Cocoa Association and continuing as Senior Advisor. In addition to my core roles, I lead the Indonesia Public Affairs Community (IPAC), a cross-industry platform of over 85 members. Through this network, I foster dialogue and collaboration among professionals in stakeholder relations, policy advocacy, and corporate affairs. I am also an active speaker and resource person in forums on socio-political dynamics, ESG, sustainable development, crisis communications, digital transformation, socio-cultural engagement, and public policy. With over 20 years across extractives, agriculture, government advisory, and professional networks, I bring deep insight into Indonesia’s regulatory landscape, social fabric, and strategic communication—key to creating long-term value in complex and evolving environments.
