I work on data-driven investigations and build interactive stories for The Hindu’s digital audience. As the newsroom’s first Editorial Coder, I work at the intersection of reporting, data analysis and front-end development to turn complex datasets and policy questions into clear, engaging visual narratives. I've dealt with large datasets of millions of deleted voters, done a story where we collected original data on how heat stress affects people from different income groups and I also occasionally write columns on how AI is evolving!

I covered Knox County Schools, Tennessee's third largest school district, curated datasets for the newsroom and helped with visuals. I was awarded the first place for education reporting in Tennessee in 2022. My coverage was focused on simplifying education for students, families and teachers.

I curated and presented stories in a visually attractive manner. I was at the forefront of the product’s expansion in the U.S., helping co-lead a team of global editors. I handled breaking stories, live events and collaborated with creatives to present news to 100 million+ active users in the most visually appealing way possible. Recognized with a 'Real Star' award for my news-judgement and willingness to initiate and lead projects.

I curated and packaged financial and political news on Reuters’ Eikon platform. The role required a strong general and markets' news judgment. I also designed and compiled newsletters on Brexit, Debt, and Forex Markets.

I covered city hall and businesses in the city of Caldwell. My reporting was sourced by filing requests for public records and using that data to tell stories. I also produced long form story packages and covered breaking news, as needed.

Community liaison between the university and local elementary, middle and high schools in and around Delaware. Responsible for connecting international and multicultural students at Ohio Wesleyan with schools to further cross cultural dialogue and learning. Also responsible for managing transportation for volunteers and for coordinating advertising efforts for the program.

Worked in a team of five to plan, coordinate and execute a three-day orientation program for over 500 students. Was responsible for managing all logistical details, keeping schedules coordinated and organized, communicating with various departments on campus, inviting and coordinating speakers and designing and developing materials for the program. During the program, stepped in to coordinate crisis management efforts to ensure a smooth welcome and transition for the new class.

I covered faculty meetings, student government, general campus news, and (occasionally) sports as the Managing Editor for one of the oldest running independent student newspaper in the country, The Transcript. I was also responsible for designing pages for our biweekly print publication, taking photographs, assigning and editing stories and was charged with leading an investigative reporting project. Earned honors in Steve Coll's Media Ethics class. Took courses in covering climate change and visual storytelling.
