• Delivering EV Range, Acceleration and Drivability attributes on the first Battery Electric Vehicle JLR ever made. • Set the EV range and performance targets for future JLR Electric Cars. • Supported the development of the WLTP Capabilities of the business by creating requirements for the Testing facilities, processes and soaking / preparation areas. • Administering and supporting vehicle level testing at both virtual and physical property level – including but not limited to FE testing on test beds, PF&D testing on track and VET process support including sign off drives • Gateway reporting of PED attribute status & maintaining PED metric tracking and documentation (panel charts & RMDV) • Understanding of quality issues, customer satisfaction and future trends to influence and enhance customer experiences

- Develop the framework that will enable the business to include energy consumption when the strategy for each system is decided. - Create the process to cascade vehicle level energy requirements to system level requirements through systems engineering - Create requirements and targets for the energy consumption of JLR great future products. - Facilitate cross-CoC discussions to enable the efficient delivery of the above targets. - Drive the Energy Consumption improvement across all the JLR systems and products.

- Lead the CAE full hybrid vehicle modelling team within the Full vehicle simulation group. - Lead the generation of fuel economy, performance and gradeability assessments in support of hybrid powertrain unit and electrified vehicle programmes. - Perform detailed model correlation against physical test data, developing recommendations for future model improvements to increase robustness - Gather and led the delivery and validation of modelling requirements from the various stakeholders - Liaise with internal customers and agree on scope vs time mix for each requested study - Train and support the new members

-Designing and running large simulation experiments for the purposes of optimising the sizing and calibration of hybrid electric vehicles -Translating detailed control algorithms into simplified rule-based smiling control models and implementing into existing vehicle models -Creating bespoke Matlab-based tools for the purposes of aiding the target-setting and concept design phase of vehicle development

Engineering Business Management

Installation of photovoltaic panels on rooftops and fields. - Acting as the main technical adviser on a construction site for subcontractors, crafts people and operatives - Setting out, levelling and surveying the site; - Ensuring that all materials used and work performed are as per specifications; managing, monitoring and interpreting the contract design documents supplied by the client or architect - Liaising with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project - Liaising with the local authority (where appropriate to the project) to ensure compliance with local construction regulations and by-laws - Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labour force and the work of any subcontractors - Planning the work and efficiently organising the plant and site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines - Overseeing quality control and health and safety matters on site - Preparing reports as required; - Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise. - Run simulations to optimise layouts and planning - Lead a team of 3-5 workers.
