Comoto Family of Brands is comprised of RevZilla, Cycle Gear, J&P Cycles, REVER and Common Tread Media. With three distinct online destinations, a digital community, 180 stores and countless owned brands, Comoto is the leading aftermarket retail group in the motorcycle industry. Comoto is owned by the 3 founding partners of RevZilla and private equity fund PH Growth.

After leaving the CEO role in Jan '17, currently an active Board Director involved in intermittent strategic business initiatives and within RevZilla media a few hours per month. With my co-founders, launched and grew RevZilla to be the largest and highest rated eCommerce destination in the worldwide motorcycle aftermarket. Achieved yearly sales over $100M without raising outside capital. A strategy focused on technology, media and service optimized for a trusted customer experience allowed RevZilla to transcend the role of retailer. Revzilla ultimately became an indispensable industry resource for its enthusiast customer base and the brands within the marketplace. Led a successful PE exit in March of 2016 and left RevZilla daily operations in January of 2017.

With my co-founders, launched and grew RevZilla to be the largest and highest rated eCommerce company in the worldwide motorcycle aftermarket, without raising outside capital. Operationally focused on customer trust, employee trust and vendor trust allowing RevZilla to build a world-class brand, attract and retain top talent and build equitable relationships with industry leading brands. Led an external capital process culmonating in the combination of RevZilla and Cycle Gear under the newly formed Comoto Holdings in February of 2016. Upon formation, Comoto became the largest motorcycle aftermarket retail group in the world.

Joined as equity investor and advisor along with colleague Brock Weatherup in late 2024. Great product, great founding team, great vision. Wild Society Nutrition offers a platform of nutrient-dense food optimized to fuel life's adventures, prioritizing exceptional health and nutrition delivered with great taste packaged in convenient options that support busy and active lifestyles.

I camped out in the airplane room as a Cub Scout in 1988. The smell of walking through the heart is burned into memory. I consider myself a Philadelphian through and through. I come from a long line of educators and others who value science, art and education. What an honor to join the institute on the eve of is 200th anniversary. My wife and I have our focus group at home, just waiting to tap in. STEAM for the win. Founded in 1824 in honor of America’s first scientist, Benjamin Franklin, The Franklin Institute is one of the oldest and premier centers of science education and development in the country. Today, the Institute continues its dedication to public education and creating a passion for science by offering new and exciting access to science and technology in ways that would dazzle and delight its namesake.

After 8+ years of active board work starting at Tony Hawk Foundation and helping steward our evolution and rebrand to the Skatepark Project, I decided to roll off the formal board in Dec of 2025. In my current role of strategic advisor I'll work with exec and board leadership in an ad-hoc form. Love this org and love it's impact.

Empowering youth through skateboarding with an amazing team who "gets it". The Skatepark Project (formerly Tony Hawk Foundation) seeks to foster lasting improvements in society, with an emphasis on supporting and empowering youth in disadvantaged communities. Since 2002, the foundation has provided more than 500 grants and community support to enable the creation of public skateboard parks that promote healthy, active lifestyles and positive after-school activities. This invitation-only executive council is made up of retailing's most prominent digital experts. It meets to enhance the strategic value of NRF and the e-commerce, mobile and innovative initiatives that exist within the retail industry today. It provides a collaborative environment to exchange information on digital retail trends and strategies, research, education and advocacy opportunities in Washington, D.C..
