I am a Design Engineer with total 20 years of Automotive domain experience, in various areas like BIW, Exterior/interior parts design. Currently working at Honda R&D at Interior design. Previously I worked with Kawasaki Motors and Toyota R&D, in USA. I was responsible for exterior trim and sheet metal parts design and development activities from initial to SOP. I was involved with Exterior/ Interior projects for design development, warranty studies, and VA/VE activities. I hold a patent for Front Door molding end cap design. I have global automotive experience with different clients in India, Saudi Arabia and currently, the US. I have wide and varied experience across multiple vehicle categories like Sedan, SUV, Minivan, Commercial Cab Trucks etc. I have BIW underbody design experience of 4.5 years with Renault & Nissan R&D and BIW upper body shell component design experience of 4 years with Tata motors R&D, for Commercial Cab Trucks. At Ashok Leyland, I have 2.5 years of experience in Chasis component design and development for Army vehicles. I also have about a year of experience in Accessories parts development with ALJACS.
