A distinct high-elevation vineyard in Washington State which produces structured wines known for their balanced, powerful structure, and significant aging potential. This vineyard is situated in Yakima Valley AVA and Rattlesnake Hills sub-AVA with its lowest elevation at 1,300 feet and highest at 1,550ft, provides more direct sunlight, a cooling effect, and a distinct climate ideal for developing concentrated, well-structured wines. The rocky and silt loam soils provide excellent drainage, contributing to small clusters and thick-skinned grapes that result in bold, robust wines with high flavor concentration. The wines often exhibit complex aromas combining dark fruit, floral notes, and earthy or, soil-like elements.
