I have spent my career increasing access to drive equitable economic development, and leading organization through periods of turbulent change. Whether as an executive, a board member, or a volunteer, I help organizations restructure to find new levels of savings and efficiency to better serve their mission and our community, especially throughout the DC region. I joined the Consortium in 2020, and it may be the nation's most innovative educational alliance. As the President and CEO, I am fostering bold new partnerships between our members and the region's leading corporations, non-profit and government agencies, and philanthropic organizations. This has resulted in regional leadership in workforce development, reducing food insecurity, affordable housing, and reducing gun violence. We are exploring further collaborations in sustainability, healthcare, and the intersection of sports/arts/media. In all things, we celebrate pride in our National Capital Area, the world's greatest college town. A recovering percussionist who funded my graduate schoolwork as a DJ in D.C. nightclubs, I also remain active in the arts, serving as a volunteer in support of numerous groups and organizations.
