I am an R&D Engineer at Smart Reactors, specializing in medical device coatings. With a Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from University College Dublin, I am passionate about leveraging material science and engineering principles to enhance medical device performance and patient outcomes. I have hands-on experience from the Material Science and Surface Technology Lab at DePuy Synthes, Cork, where I gained insights into medical device manufacturing and the critical role of coatings in device functionality. Now, in my role at Smart Reactors, I am focused on advancing innovative coating solutions that improve device durability, biocompatibility, and overall performance. Beyond engineering, I am an ambitious pilot in training, lifeguard, and freediver—experiences that have sharpened my ability to perform under pressure, stay focused in critical situations, and continuously push my limits. I thrive in dynamic environments and am always eager to take on new challenges.
