About
As the founder of "let's talk about segs", and "Social Emotional Learning Matters", I am passionate about providing children with the knowledge and skills they need to stay safe and healthy in the world. I have 30 years of experience in education. I have a primary B.Ed (Hons) from lancaster University, and a middle school teaching qualification from Gothenburg University in Sweden. I gained my QTS in 1991, and my Swedish licensing in 1999. I am also an accredited solution based brief therapy counselling practitioner, for children, teens, or adults. Accredited with the CTAA, the complimentary therapists acrediting association. I have recently completed a series of post graduate specialisations in social and emotional learning, from the University of Colorado, at Boulder. I believe SEL to be the key to many things, it is however not enough to have the key, we must also use it.
