* Reporting to the CFO, I established led a team of procurement professionals, responsible for the effective procurement of Air NZ’s major spend categories, including Marketing, IT, Corporate, In-flight, Logistics, Airport Services, Aeronautical Services, Aircraft & Engine parts & services and Cargo Operations. * Achievements: *  Extended reach of and buy-in to Strategic Procurement across all corporate categories, including Marketing and Engineering *  Developed team into High Performing Team *  Developed TCO, Supply Chain and Continuous Improvement focus resulting in close to 100M cost reduction over 4 years

Reporting to the Head of Operations and Technology, this role was responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies which ensure that goods and services acquired by the TVNZ Group deliver maximum value at minimum sustainable total cost of ownership.

This role led a team of five and reported to the GM Procurement who in turn reported directly into HQ in Dallas. Responsible for developing and maintaining external relationships and partnerships, establishing supplier management processes and developing and implementing strategy both locally and globally, including market and competitive analysis. Team development and coaching/ mentoring of peers was an integral part of the role.

Reporting to the CFO and leading two teams, the areas of responsibility covered the effective and efficient management of the Information Services and Logistics Departments, including strategic planning, systems improvement and project management. A key focus was the development of strategic supplier alliances including contract negotiation and identifying and implementing cost savings.

* This role covered aspects of both business development and project delivery and cover a wide range of topics: * benchmarking, maturity assessment and roadmap development * strategy and operating model development and assistance in implementation * development of best practice framework, including policy review, development and implementation of the framework and process/template build. * supplier relationship management and contract management framework creation * procurement strategy for major asset and services procurement * minority procurement model development for government organization * spend analysis, opportunity identification and value delivery
