It was a B2B startup trading vertical of Livspace in the name of InDepot. My primary role was to develop and finalise the potential suppliers/factories across south India for Private Label for Plywood & other wood panels to cater the huge demand of Bangalore city.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage entire sourcing of wood panels, such as Plywood, Particle & MDF board. New vendor selection, product quality audit, evaluation and development for PRIVATE LABEL. Handle, coach and lead QA team (at vendor site as well as warehouse both). Sourcing the right product at the best price. Ensure rejection is minimum at warehouse. Ensure sourced product meets the quality standards.

KEY RESPONSIBITIES: Manage and lead QA team. Execution of orders within the lead time. Standardization of Quality Control system at vendor site. New vendor development, whenever necessary. Perform RCA for the repeated issues pertaining to product quality with the help of tools like 5 Why analysis & Fish-bone diagram. Ensure rejection is minimum at vendor site. Prepare production & dispatch plan, and ensure targeted dispatches are met. Attend quality complaints and ensure issues are not repeated. Preparation of daily MIS reports. Cost analysis. Vendor management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage QC team - PAN India. Vendor management. Vendor audit and selection. Ensure quality of finished product is as per standards. Establishment of process control system at vendor site for better product quality. Conduct vendor site visits, whenever necessary. TQM. Ensure inventory of damaged goods is minimum (at PAN India warehouses). Preparation of SOP and its implementation. Preparation of annual budget for consumables used in repair.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for over all Production, Operation & Quality of the finished product. Manpower Management, Production Planning & Control, Create safety awareness among all subordinates and workmen. Dispatch planning. Responsible for driving and controlling the production process in coordination with sales and procurement. Create a healthy workplace, troubleshooting. Raw material planning and forecasting. Provide technical support to customers and Sales team. Cost control. Ensure wastage is minimum.

Bajaj Eco-tec is the subsidiary of Bajaj Hindusthan Limited. It is the Asia’s largest Sugar, Ethanol, Country Liquor, MDF & Particle Board manufacturing company with more than 15,000 + manpower in 16 Sugar, 6 Cogen Power, 6 Distillery & 3 MDF and Particle Board plants. My job responsibilities include: Resin Production (capacity 48 TPD). Handle production shift independently. Create safety awareness amongst subordinates followed by using 5S tools. Responsible for Short Cycle Press production as well as quality of the finished product.

Key Responsibilities: To handle all the production process throughout the shift. Responsible for quality of manufactured product. Raw materials planning as per production schedule. Keep co-ordination with all shift supervisors for smooth functioning of the plant.
