My duties were to carry out the Standard and Safety programming of industrial PLCs, as well as the commissioning of the machines. These machines were mainly industrial presses for the automotive sector. The principal software tools that I used consist of SIEMENS family products (SIMATIC Step 7, TIA Portal, SIMOTION Scout, WinCC, among others). Although being involved in both tasks, the programming part and the commissioning, has allowed me to get knowledge and experience about other firm's devices and their software (Pilz, Euchner, SICK, Murrelektronik, Balluff, Roland Electronic, SEW...). Here's a little summary about the projects that I have participated in: - "Str. 100" (Volkswagen Nutzfahrzeuge. Hannover, Germany): Development and commissioning of the retrofit of a production line formed by a plate feeder, 6 press stations, the plate transport devices, and a plate discharger. - "Linie 21" (Volkswagen AG Baunatal. Baunatal, Germany): Commissioning of a production line formed by 4 press stations and plate transport robots, that was dismounted in Australia and mounted again in Germany. - "CP 8" (Volkswagen Sachsen. Zwickau, Germany): Development and commissioning of the retrofit of a plate cutting line formed by a coil feeder, a cutting-press station, and a plate discharger.

Internship as part of the Erasmus+ Programme in order to complete my Higher Education in Electronic Maintenance. During this internship I focused myself in learning about the organization required to work in big projects under a company defined standardization, the basics of industrial PLC programming and commissioning focused on presses for the automotive industry, and the correct procedure to approach new projects and face unexpected problems.
