About
I am an outgoing individual with strong interpersonal skills, who thrives in a team-focused work environment. My ideal career would be in a position that allows me to utilize these to my best potential. My strongest trait is my determination to get a job done. I will endevour to complete something long after everyone else has given up. Currently working as a research assistant in hopes for funding for a PhD in Immunology. My ultimate ambition is to become a lecturer. Providing that obtaining funding is unobtainable, I would love to begin a career in sales, as I believe that would still allow me to talk with people on a regular basis.

night bank care assistant
the homestead residential care home
* Worked night shifts looking after residents with dementia and assisting them with general care. * Improved communication skills through talking to people who cannot express what they are trying to say effectively. * High competency and professionalism at the job lead to being entrusted to act as senior carer for the shift multiple times * Quick thinker, given that residents would frequently fall out of bed and require emergency assistance and first aid.
Education
university of exeter
My degree aimed to provide in depth knowledge of the inner workings of the human body, and how disease disrupted this normal functioning through self-directed learning. A strong backbone of the course was maintaining a highly professional attitude. As the majority of our learning was small group (8-10 people) based, we had to work as a team to complete learning objectives, and take turns chairing the sessions, directing the pace of discussions and delegating objectives. Frequent presentations ensured we could communicate our information effectively, and self-reflection modules ensured we always reassessed our performance to find areas of improvement. During my time at university I developed a very strong professional relationship with my lecturers at the medical school, and frequently sat in on programme development meeting with staff to help improve the degree programme for future prospective years. Activities and Societies: Clincsoc (Course society, 2011-2014 - President in final year) Student Parliament 2010-2012
