As a precursor to working in the head office, the London office provided the best possible opportunity to cover all groundwork and gain a valuable insight into the workings of one of the largest regional offices for the company. Agent Support in the UK office entails providing office based support for a network of agents located all over the UK. Commercial support offered to the agents included sales admin support for any and every aspect of the sales process, supply of marketing materials and support at events and exhibitions.

* The department covered all aspects of sales and marketing support for the agents that sold the properties. With experience working with the agents and in response to their needs the team and roles were created and built. * Responsibilities included; * Sales and marketing support to 6,000 independent agents via 80 area sales managers, 16 offices as well as direct team support * Diagnostic reviews of agents websites to increase sales and leads generated * Involvement in the sales process including preparation of contract details and receipt of payments * In-house PR of the department and organisation of formal launch including presentation to sales staff * Development and implementation of new marketing techniques such as easy-to-use information packs for agents, informative newsletters, training manuals, establishing CRM systems to improve working conditions, new systems of reporting * Evaluation of sales per country to assess relative sales and marketing needs
