Project: MIDOR Refinery Expansion – USD 2.3 Billion Led instrumentation construction and commissioning activities for a major refinery expansion project. Prepared and reviewed WBS, drawings, and technical documents for I&C systems. Supervised subcontractors’ installation activities, ensuring compliance with specifications, quality standards, and project schedule. Coordinated manpower, tools, materials, and spare parts to support critical tie-in activities. Reviewed and validated final tie-in packages in coordination with the Project Instrument Coordinator. Participated in daily and weekly coordination meetings with client, subcontractors, and vendors to resolve site issues and ensure smooth execution.

Project: Egypt Refinery Company (ERC) – USD 4.3 Billion Managed and led a team of 40+ instrumentation engineers and technicians on one of the largest refinery projects in the region. Planned and coordinated instrumentation construction, calibration, and pre-commissioning activities across multiple units. Ensured full compliance with project specifications, international standards, and HSE requirements. Identified critical design and execution issues early and implemented effective technical solutions, preventing major delays and cost impacts. Evaluated team performance and conducted targeted technical training to improve execution quality. Reviewed subcontractor invoices and monitored construction progress against approved schedules.

Projects: Petrobel New Land Oil Treatment Train GASCO LPG Maximization BG WDDM Phase VII Acted as EPCM site representative for instrumentation and control systems. Supervised EPC contractors to ensure compliance with contractual requirements, specifications, and international standards. Led construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities for multiple oil and gas facilities. Conducted site inspections, walkthroughs, and technical audits. Issued punch lists, verified clearance activities, and supported system handover. Provided advanced troubleshooting support during critical commissioning phases. Responsible of instrumentation construction and inspection activities for Electrical package CP-117 & Mechanical package CP-118 for the following : • Leading a team of engineers, technicians, supervisors, foremen, material controllers, and logistics personnel effectively. • Managing the on-site construction team and resolving technical or engineering issues with vendors and contractors. • Supporting the engineering department by generating hook-up layouts, instrument location layouts, installation details, cable tray layouts, and more. • Reviewing and approving material vouchers. • Supervising calibration activities, identifying calibration priorities, and tracking progress to ensure that no delays affect construction progress. • Overseeing the installation of all kinds of instrumentation , F&G and ensure that Construction is as per relevant codes, specifications, procedures and schedule •Ensure that project discipline engineering activities are executed within budget and schedule, while maintaining technical integrity. •Ensure the effectiveness of the contractor's quality system and the total implementation of the relevant quality control procedures, inspection and test plan supervision and monitor the processes to eliminate causes of unsatisfactory performance in order to achieve project objectives.. •Approval of defined quality documents and records submitted at site. •Ensure that Construction is as per relevant codes, specifications, procedures and schedule. •Making the necessary drawings if request. •Provides and directs the technical services functions on-site & Resolves job site technical issues encountered during execution of the project. •Installation of flushing part for fisher control valve. •Making the commissioning for Fire Alarm System. •Preparing turn over package documents. •Review all the As-Built Drawings. •Carry out work in accordance with the client’s and project Healthy, Safety, Environmental and Quality systems.

Responsible of instrumentation construction and inspection activities for the following: •Check, Review and Approve for Installation all kinds for instrumentation, Hookup, J.Box, Local Panel installation, Cable Tray, Conduit Pipe, Cable Laying, cable connection. •Check, Review and Approve for Installation all kinds for Gas Detectors, Fire Control Panel, Mimic Panel, Cable Laying, and Cable Connection. •Check, Review and Approve for Installation DCS & ESD Marshling, and Fire & Gas Cabinet, Cable Laying, Cable Connection. •Check, Review and Approve for Fiber Optic Cable Splicing and Testing. •Review and approve the calibration procedure of the installation team/subcontractor (s) in accordance with the project calibration requirements and check the adequacy of the calibration site lab facilities. •Witness the instrument calibration and checks. •Check and Review for Block Valve Testing, Inspection. •Check and Review the material receiving. •Preparation / Review of Punch lists. •Review all the As-Built Drawings.
