Bechtel Petrofac Joint Venture has been selected to provide Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management services to deliver a 2 M tons per year Alumina Refinery in Abu Dhabi’s Khalifa Industrial Zone. •Coordinates with the Construction team and Projects control to set construction priorities. •Managing all the design packages for facilities that require approval by any regularity body (Abu Dhabi Municipality, Civil Defense, KIZAD). •Collates the documentation for the design reports and prepares the explanatory note along with assembling the calculations, drawings and any other information and references required. •Collaborates with the engineering team to obtain input into the design report. •Maintains the permit tracking for current status of documents submitted to the 3rd party review, those where BPJV need to respond to queries and clarifications, those approved for construction to commence as well as maintaining forecast dates for future design reports. •Work with engineering team to ensure the deliverables required for the design reports are available in time so that the report can be collated and drawings translated to AutoCAD and ADM titles blocks. •Follow up on engineers close out of responses and collates / coordinates response sheets until they are fully closed out. •Oversee the CAD designers work and priorities work when required to suit the requirements of construction. •Communicates regularly with Area Management and Construction regarding the status of approvals, including production of regular status reports. •Organizes and leads regular status meetings between BPJV Engineering, Client permitting coordinator and the 3rd party review groups.

•Reviewing the design and checking final quantities of the civil works. •Developing initial bill of material; prepare technical layouts and drawings for proposal estimation •Reviewing the Technical Document Register (TDR), evaluate scope of work, number of required drawings and establish design and drafting requirements. •Review and understand project contractual requirements. •Review and understand the client specification and requirements and adhere to the same. •Coordinate inputs from various functional departments and out house contractors contributing to the execution of the project •Coordination of all input and changes to the project plan, scope of work, drawings and specifications •Update scope of work documents produced by respective functional department and identify changes and assist in preparation of change orders •Coordinate submission of procedure and calculations to the client for review and approval, plus monitor client approval process

part of Shell/Petrofac integrated construction management team– Basra, IRAQ. • Supervised and coordinated the construction work at the central processing facility (CPF) and the well sites of five contractors covering civil, mechanical and electrical work- including superstructure and infrastructure. • Participated in designing behavioral safety initiatives that increased the labor compliance with safety regulations (i.e. increasing using safety equipment by 20%) and ensured, as a team, a zero L.T.I. safety record by taking the necessary safety measures. • Planned daily, weekly and monthly work activities and achieved all the planned schedules on time. • Ensured that the construction work was carried as per the drawings and specifications that resulted in a handover of the finished work with quality control approval every time. • Successfully managed the emergency works that resulted from heavy rains in 25% of the time allocated for the repairs which prevented major delays. • Integrating the work done by individual contractors at different locations, into a single operation where it served the progress of the overall project and benefited the contractors as well. • Coordinated the operations and managed conflicts between the construction and the well site avoiding any stoppage of the works.
