As a naval architect for Ensco I performed Mooring and DP analysis for deepwater floating drillships, Jackup site assessments, lashing assessments for rig moves and served as the corporate lead on site for incline experiments and deadweight surveys. I performed theater specific drift off and riser analysis. Investigated expected results for possible upgrades and/or required upgrades for new theaters. In one years time acquired enough knowledge on the subject that I receive a charter to revise the company standard/process documentation.

My primary role at BMT is Project Engineer in which I lead Scedule, Scope and Quality for long-term and large-scale deepwater riser monitoring systems. These systems generally comprise of subsea strain sensors with numerous options for additional water column and field instrumentation all channeled to a single HMI in the clients control room. I was also the Project Manager and Project Engineer of a first of its kind (for the company) real time drilling riser installation and operations monitor.

Monthly response reports of floaters to environment for asset QA/QC. Participated in tanker sea trials and model tests for production platforms.

Horton Wison Deepwater was a boutique Offshore Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Installation Firm. The high point of the firm was the design and installaltion inf the BPZ Buoyant Tower. My primary role for my time with HWD was the design, procurement, installation and training for an automated ballast system. Also, performed structural, hydrodynamic and hydrostatic analysis on many different HWD patented offshore concepts to showcase the functionality and advantages of our approach.
