Research & development, software architecture & design, project management, automation & interface design. Responsible for all new technology (architecture) design, integration, and technical products spanning over technologies like Perl, Java, Android, Python, Django, Javascript, Polymer, Node.js. Designed and developed Interaction Framework to easily create financial applications with complex user interaction flows. Designed Eko's financial services RESTful API architecture. Architected, designed and developed connect.eko.co.in, a sophisticated web app for financial services built over Interaction Framework, using a modern technology stack like Polymer, Node.js based decoupled server architecture, P2P & socket communications, Service Worker based offline support.

Responsible for solving new technical challenges in the company - * fuzzy recon tool for financial transactions * wallet pre-funding automation system for our distributors & retailers that helped bring down the time of cash-to-digital conversion from hours to a few minutes * SMS messaging platform with pubsub architecture * optimizations in existing software, database query, etc * new apps and tools in Perl, Python, Java, Android, etc

System enhancement & automation in various departments, Solr Lucene based search solutions, web design & development, scripting, etc. First two months: Enhanced current Perl-based applications with better logic / regular expression implementation resulting in the reduction of error margin up to 40% and an increase in data parsing speed up to 70%. All the historical data was reprocessed due to the above enhancements. Next four months: Wrote generic data processors and web crawlers in Perl to completely automate my work. Used the free time to learn and develop PHP based websites and Joomla/Drupal plugins. Complete automation made my job redundant and finally, my department was closed. Next four months: Automation in some other departments. I landed a Solr-Lucene based project to enhance search solutions on a few sub-portals of Indiamart (due to a senior developer leaving Indiamart who was the only Lucene expert there). I ended up developing the whole search server from scratch along with the web frontend (the search page, in PHP) with enhancements in search accuracy, relevance, speed and error tolerance.
