*Provided overall management and coordination of FHWA's environmental program responsibilities within the Division Office and externally with Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT), state agencies, local agencies, interested groups, Federal agencies, and the public for over 25 years. *Interpret the application of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA),Section 4 (f) of the Department of Transportation Act, and related environmental laws, regulations, and Executive Orders (E.O) on the Federal-aid highway program in Nevada such as Endangered Species Act, Section 404 of the Clean Water Act, Land and Water Conservation Fund Act, Rivers and Harbors Act of 1899,Fish and Wildlife Coordination Act, Section 106 of the National Historic preservation Act, E.O. 11990 for protection of Wetlands, and E.0 11988 for floodplain Management as well as the latest EOs from the president. *Reviewed and finalized many Environmental Impact Statements (EIS) and Environmental Assessment (EA) in Michigan and Nevada. Worked also with environmental documents from FFA, FRA, and many land management projects. * Wrote, in cooperation with SDOT and others the programmatic agreements and processes for compliance with different laws and regulations such as Programmatic Biological Opinion with the FWS, Programmatic Categorical Exclusions and Checklist with NDOT, and the programmatic section 106 with many federal and state agencies, and the operation manual with the Bureau of Land Management and NDOT. Michigan projects: I-94 Detroit, I-75 Oakland, Detroit Intermodal Freight Terminal, Blue Water Bridge Crossing, and Detroit River International Crossing, M-59, and others. Nevada Projects: I-15 North Design Build, I-15 South Corridor, US-95 Northwest; Tropicana, Sheep Mountain Parkway; Pyramid way, Pyramid way and US 395 Connector, Pyramid way and McCarran Intersection, NEON, Boulder City Bypass, Reno Spaghetti Bowl, U 50, and others.
