Abbey Murff

I serve as the Social Media Manager for the coffee and soda shop, where I create and post content that promotes our drinks, specials and events. I take photos and videos, write captions and plan posts to keep our audience engaged and informed. I respond to comments and messages, help run promotions and track engagement to see what content performs best. Through this role, I’ve developed skills in content creation, branding, communication and understanding what connects with our local community.

I work as a barista in a busy coffee shop where I make espresso drinks and serve customers throughout the day. I operate the espresso machine, prepare different coffee beverages and also make specialty drinks like dirty sodas. I make sure each drink is prepared correctly and efficiently. I also handle cash register transactions, keep the workspace clean and restock supplies as needed. This job has helped me build strong customer service skills, work well under pressure and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.

I own and run my own photography business. I work with clients to plan photo sessions, take pictures and edit the final images in Lightroom Classic. I communicate with clients about what they’re looking for and make sure they feel comfortable during shoots. I also handle scheduling, social media and other business tasks such as inquiries and contracts. Running my own business has helped me stay organized, manage my time well and build strong relationships with clients.
