Global Victoria is a government organisation within the Department of Jobs, Skills, Industry and Regions (DJSIR) dedicated to supporting businesses to grow their Exports. I am responsible for facilitating the growth of Victorian exports, specifically within the Food and Fibre sector across the Loddon Mallee region by: - Providing new and established Exporters with practical trade advice. - Supporting in building export plans and capability. - Assisting with tangible connections to global market, working in conjunction with various government departments.

Treasury Wine Estates is Australia's largest Exporter of Wine with vision to become the most admired premium wine company. I was responsible for heading the International Freight department for Australia and New Zealand with focus on driving operational efficiency, process improvement and evolving ways of working in line with organisational growth. Key responsibilities include: - Managing the operational team responsible for all Export functions from ANZ: Championing a culture of high performance and continuous growth. - Governing relationships with International Freight service suppliers to achieve the required quality and performance targets. - Responsibility of all processes relating to the completion of export bookings, transport, documentation, and customs requirements in a timely and compliant manner. - Accountability of the operational standards of International Freight activity to achieve the required quality and compliance targets.

Leading the ANZ Customer Service team within the Order to Bill department. Key responsibilities include: - Overseeing operational functions from order entry through to invoicing and revenue recognition, - Managing key stakeholder relationships (internal and external) including Freight Forwarders and Shipping Lines. - Leading and contributing to key continuous improvement initiatives.

Kuehne+Nagel is the world's largest Ocean Freight forwarder, with an extensive global network and strong industry presence in Oceania. I was responsible for the management of all Sea Export operations for all shipments departing from Australia. Key focus areas of productivity, efficiency and operational excellence. Key responsibilities: - Management of the National Sea Export Operations team handling end-to-end operations for all shipments departing from Australia. - Overseeing the day-to-day operations of all sea exports from Australia including FCL, LCL, DG, Reefer, Pharmaceutical, Perishable cargoes. - Strategic resource planning to ensure optimal performance and a high level of efficiency across all areas of the export operation. - People management responsibilities including department recruitment, performance reviews, workload and resource allocation. - Creating and implementing SOPs and KPIs for ongoing end-to-end operational excellence. - Delivering regular training to the National Sea Export Operations team on key operational tasks to increase knowledge and awareness of requirements and implications.

Management of all operations of the KNCooltainer Melbourne Branch. Operationally focussed with emphasis on supply chain and customer service excellence as well as business development responsibilities. - Management of the operational team completing day-to-day operations for all shipments departing from all ports across Australia. - Development and implementation of new operational processes to maximise efficiency and create synergies. - Client visits: Current customers and potential new clients to maintain and strengthen relationships, as well as securing new business. - Involvement in development and rolling out of new projects across the Asia Pacific Region.

Relocation to Christchuch, New Zealand to oversee the operations of Kuehne+Nagel's largest Reefer account in the Asia Pacific region with focus on driving process improvements and efficiency. - Regular client facing meetings to understand supply chain processes and requirements with the goal to increase operational efficiencies for all parties in the supply chain. - Driving the rollout of new systems and processes within the internal Key Account Operations team to increase productivity, build relationships and to develop mutual understanding of the account in both Australia and New Zealand. - People management responsibility including recruitment, performance reviews and workload allocations.

Client dealings at an operational level to process bookings and documentation and provide excellent customer service. - Liaising with shipping lines and container depots for timely processing of bookings, equipment requirements and end-to-end operational tasks for export and import. - Coordinating with transport suppliers on a day-to-day basis to ensure timely delivery of export and import containers to clients. - Liaising with clients on a daily basis to arrange packs and unpacks to promote stock flow, eliminate delays and drive efficiency in their supply chain.

Hardwicks Meatworks (now known as Kilcoy Global Foods) is the largest food manufacturing company in the Macedon Ranges, specialising in Beef and Lamb products. Hardwicks is also the largest employer of staff in the locality. I was responsible for the coordination of export operations and inventory control, completing the export process from start to finish.
