As Senior Technical Design Engineer, I was responsible for delivering precise, regulation-compliant technical solutions for retail projects. I specialised in producing detailed CAD drawings and construction documentation, ensuring that creative concepts were translated into safe, accurate, and efficient builds. As a Design Engineer, I delivered accurate technical drawings and detailed manufacturing packages for bespoke washroom and joinery projects. My role spanned site surveying, 3D modelling, and design coordination, ensuring each project moved seamlessly from concept through to installation with clarity, precision, and buildable solutions. Key Responsibilities & Achievements • Produced GA drawings and manufacturing details from site surveys using SolidWorks, ensuring high accuracy and reducing installation issues. • Developed complex 3D CAD models to communicate design intent clearly across contractors and internal teams. •Identified and resolved design discrepancies early, supporting smoother project delivery and minimising delays. • Improved team efficiency by standardising drawing templates, organising reusable model libraries, and refining revision workflows. • Created physical 3D-printed prototypes to validate design functionality and support client approvals. • Collaborated closely with main contractors, subcontractors, and colleagues to maintain design integrity throughout each stage of the project. • Recognised for strong communication, reliable problem-solving, and consistent attention to detail under demanding deadlines.

A qualified senior CNC machinist, with 4 years’ experience using various CNC machines and manual machinery.
